During the slow months, there are some really good specials that can be found in the restaurants in Lagos. For me, the best of these has thus far been the all you can eat ribs offer on Thursday at a eatery called Don Toro. They do other specials throughout the down season, like in October they do a fabulous pumpkin soup and filet combo for a really reasonable rate. Also, there are nights when they do romantic meals for couples at nice discounts.
However, while I do not care to be best known as the lover of an all you can eat offer, it is worth ruining any rep I have to share this with you. I actually look forward to the months when I know they will be running this, because not only are the ribs tasty, they actually cheer you on to order more. This can of course be a mistake, but it is up to you to know your limits. As for strategy, I recommend you go light on the nice salad that comes with it, and try to skip the chips altogether.
